“If you could pick any gift for the person of your choice, what would it be and who would you give it to?” That question was answered by the Allen 5th grade students in Mrs. Candace Smith’s class.

Early Morning Break-In Vandalizes Allen City Office and Vehicle

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) is investigating a breakin at the Allen Police Department during which firearms and a patrol vehicle were stolen. According to Allen Police Chief Darrell Armstrong, the breakin occurred sometime overnight Wednesday into Thursday.

Allen Band Concert Tonight

TheAllen bands will be performing this evening, Thursday, December 18th, in a Christmas Concert at the school auditorium. The evening will begin at 7:00 p.m. with the 6th & 7th grade band and be followed with a performance by the high school band. Everyone is welcome and invited to attend.

Christmas Program Schedule

The last day of school before Christmas Break is Thursday, December 19th. Class programs will be held in the auditorium as follows: 9:00 a.m.

Johnson Chapel Raffle for 1/2 side of Beef

The Johnson Chapel United Methodist Church is selling tickets to win a half-side of beef, cut and wrapped to the winner specifications. Tickets for the raffle are $10 each or three for $25 and may be purchased by calling Alene Brown at (580) 665-0086.

Allen teams split with Stratford Tuesday

The highly rated Stratford Lady Bulldogs came to town Tuesday night and edged the Lady Mustangs in a hard-fought contest, 48–40. Allen’s Ayla Manuel led Allen scorers with 17 points, knocking down three shots from beyond the arc.
