A second Saturday clean-up day will be scheduled for Saturday, March 25th from 9-2 at the town’s sewer plant. A charge of $10 per load will help offset the expense of swapping out dumpsters. A spring clean-up date is being looked at for later in May.

Glendene Griffin was honored on Saturday, March 11th, as family and friends gathered to wish her a very happy 90th birthday. The event, held in her home, was hosted by her children and all her children, grandchildren and great-grandkids were present.

It’s back!!! After a successful run last Easter Season the Secret Bunny has hidden a prize egg somewhere in town. The winner will receive $50 and bragging rights for a year.

Area youngsters need to get their baskets ready for the annual Easter Egg Hunt. This year’s event, sponsored by the Allen Chamber of Commerce, will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 1st, in the Allen City Park.
