I recently read an obit that included a link that enabled mourners to send Sympathy Flowers. I followed the link to a website full of lovely floral arrangements with names like:

The 17th annual Allen High School Academic Awards Program was held Thursday evening, May 11th. Students in grades 9 through 12 were recognized for their academic achievement and scholarly accomplishments.
Join the Allen Masonic Lodge for breakfast Saturday, June 3rd, from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m., at the Lodge on West Broadway. The breakfast fund-raisers are held the first Saturday of each month with a menu of sausage, biscuits, gravy, scrambled eggs, hash browns and coffee.
A large crowd gather Monday, Memorial Day, to honor Allen’s servicemen and women. The ceremony was held at 11:00 a.m. at the cemetery and this year’s speaker, Wayne Layell, did an outstanding job. 1st Sgt. Layell served in the U.S.
The Atwood Nazarene Church will be having Vacation Bible School June 12th - 16th from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. The theme is “Stellar Bible Adventures.” There will be singing, games and Bible stories. Everyone is invited.
