The Allen Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting a fundraiser dinner on Saturday, June 14th. The Free BBQ Dinner will begin at 5:00 p.m. at the Fire Department building in the Allen Industrial Park, 200 East Highway 1.

Jeff Hiatt, longtime Superintendent of Allen Public Schools, attended his final school board meeting Monday and said farewell to the board.

16-year-old Clarksville creative sound artist Sienna Rose is set to release her new single, “When Will I Ever Learn,” this June. The release will be accompanied by her debut music video, produced by Tame Rabbit.

The annual Gerty Day Reunion has been set for Saturday, June 28th. This year’s event is being hosted by the Blue Devils’ Class of 1965 as they celebrated the 60th anniversary of their high school graduation.

Join the Allen Masonic Lodge for breakfast Saturday, June 7th, from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m., at the Lodge on West Broadway. The breakfast fundraisers are held the first Saturday of each month with a menu of sausage, biscuits, gravy, scrambled eggs, hash browns and coffee.
