More wins piled up for both Allen teams after trips to Asher and Stonewall for the opening round of the Pontotoc County Tournament. Both teams are the number 2 seed in the tournament. Number 1 seed for boys is Stonewall and Number 1 seed is Vanoss.

Congratulations to the Allen Schools’ Junior High e-sports team for placing 3rd at State. The meet was held December 1st at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Weatherford. Pictured are team members Genna Campbell, Gavin Wilson, and Garrett Delany. They are coached by Mr. Bettencourt.

Senior Night, honoring 17 Allen Mustangs, will be held prior to the October 27th football game against the Hartshorne Miners. The ceremony will start at 6:20 p.m.; kickoff is scheduled for 7:00.

In Friday’s district match, the visiting Stroud Tigers football squad scored a big 55-6 victory over the Allen Mustangs. No stats were available for the game.
