The Gerty Church, located one block south of the Fire Station, will be hosting a potluck lunch, 12:00 noon, on Saturday, November 9th. Special guest speaker with be from the Emergency Response Group that assisted following the Sulphur tornado.

A burn ban was set in place for all of Pontotoc County during the regular Monday morning County Commissioners’ meeting. The ban is scheduled to run until November 11th but the Commissioners may rescind or revise the ban during their next regular meeting.
