Many years ago, Dayna and I would enjoy going out for supper and then going to a movie. After a few years we just went out for supper because we didn’t want to stay up late enough to see a movie.

There has been no public funeral, but almost everyone is aware that Common Sense in the country is dead. We received the following obituary….

Some of the things that happen related to church can be rather humorous as are some inadvertently misworded media reports and classified advertisements. Let’s take a light-hearted peek at a variety of hilarious flied found in the otherwise staid church ointment.

School has started back and I wanted to share an old teacher’s contract for a Wisconsin School District that was used 100 years ago.

We enjoyed the story about the third-grade teacher who asked her students to use the word “fascinate” in a sentence. Molly said, “My family went to the New York City Zoo and we saw all the animals. It was fascinating.” The teacher said, “That was good, but I wanted you to use the word “fascinate.”

Football season is almost here, and I wanted to share a story that I actually received last year . . .
