Heather Prentice and the Allen Health Clinic provided school physicals to Allen students on Tuesday. If you missed them you have one more chance on Thursday July 10th evening 4:00 pm-6:00 pm at the new gym. You have to have the physical forms signed by your parents BEFORE you can have a physical.

Plans are underway for Allen’s annual Independence Celebration, set for Saturday, July 12th at Allen Park— and you won’t want to miss it!

The Allen Farmers State Bank will be hosting a Blood Drive on Monday, July 7th, from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm. The theme for the drive is “Camp Donor” and donors will receive a Camp Donor t-shirt plus two tickets to either Frontier City or Hurricane Harbor.

With the first Saturday in July falling in the holiday weekend, the Allen Masonic Lodge has made the decision to cancel the July breakfast. Monthly breakfasts will resume on August 2nd.

Thursday July 3 is the big night! Join us at 6:30 PM for an evening full of family, friends, and fun at Rocky Top Winery. Enjoy free entry, homemade ice cream, hot dogs, and a fireworks finale you won’t forget! Alcohol available for purchase (outside alcohol not permitted).

Every Wednesday in July the Library will be the place to be. We will have craft, games and even read a book or two. Plans are in the works for some very special readers to join us. Don’t miss out on the surprises we have in store for you each Wednesday.
