Eldon Moore passed away in Holdenville, Oklahoma on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at the age of 85 years.

Eldon is the son of Arthur Lawrence Moore and Annie Belle (Morgan) Moore, born on December 11, 1939, in Allen, Oklahoma. He was brought up and attended schools in the Atwood/Allen area until age 16, when he moved to Oklahoma City and began his first job building fence for Lifetime Fence Company. After two years he established his own business, Moore Fence Company.

He married Ellen Luker in 1962. They returned to Allen in 1972, and Eldon continued working as a fence contractor until retiring in 2000 due to health issues. His favorite things were camping, fishing and hunting, especially coon hunting.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Annie Moore; his son, Danny Fryman; two brothers, Leon Moore and Johnny Edward Moore; two granddaughters, Shalanda Johnson and Heather Johnson.

He is survived by two daughters, Angie Allen (Larry) of Oklahoma City, and Carolyn Margerum (Melvin) of Allen; six grandchildren, Michael Fryman, Joseph Fryman, Carina Watham, Melissa Hurt, Jeremy Allen, and Eldon Johnson; numerous greatgrandchildren and greatgreat grandchildren; nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 11th, 3:30pm, at Richmond Avenue Free Will Baptist Church in Allen, and Eldon will be laid to rest at Allen Cemetery, with Rev. Brent Hurt officiating.

Pallbearers are Clay Watham, Jeremy Allen, Sam Johnson, Eldon Johnson, Kenny Moore, and Jon Murphy. Ricky Simmons will serve as honorary pallbearer. http://www. fisherfh.net
