The Lady Mustang began their spring softball campaign hosting a festival on Monday.

The Lady Mustangs started the day with a big win over Strother.

In the second game Tupelo held on for the 8-5 win. Tupelo jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the top of the first when Allen answered back with 2 runs courtesy of Kaylee Davis home run over the left field fence scoring 2 runs scoring Kala Nickell who had singled in her at bat.

Allen had 13 hits in the game. Nickell went 3 for 4. Davis drove the middle of the offense leading Allen with 2 RBI’s. Ava Laden picked up 2 triples in the contest. Kryslyn Stephesns and Dextry Bowerman each had 2 hits. Davis took the loss in circle.

The last game of the day found Allen at the short end of Tushka powerful bats. Allen lost 16-0. Andi Winningham and Addison Prentice each had 2 hits in the contest. Davis , Laden, Lilly Matthewsa nd Tresley Mowdy eachhad a single. Allen committed no errors inthe game.
