The Allen Mustangs open their 2024 campaign Friday night at home. Kick time is 7:00.

The Mustangs have put in work during the summer in the weight room and are ready to get their first game under their belt under new coach Chad Eldrich.

“Of course we would like to have a few more bodies on the team but we stress quality over quantity. I believe these young men can put together a nice season,” said Coach Eldrich. “We have some experience in the skill positions and some good size on the line, we will just improve as the season goes on.”

The Mustangs will be one of few teams playing this week which is classified as Week 0 and will have a bye next week. Allen will be road warriors this season as there will be 6 away games and only 4 home contests. The trips will be to Stratford, Wynnewood, Talihina, Wewoka, Liberty and Gore.

Put on your black and gold and come and cheer on the Mustangs. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for students and $2 for fans 65 and older.
