Service held for ‘Hopper’ Kelley
Lifelong Konawa, OK resident Frankie “Hopper” Dean Kelley passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026 in Seminole at the age of 67. Hopper was born on August 10, 1958 in Seminole, OK to Frank Kelley and Edith Vivian (McGill) Addington. He was a Konawa High School graduate. Hopper married Darla Jean Shaw on December 7, 1977 in Konawa, OK. He retired in 2011 from his work as derrick hand for Ackerman Drilling.
Hopper enjoyed turkey hunting, fishing, coon hunting and most of all spending time with family.
Hopper is survived by his wife, Darla Jean Kelley; two sons and daughters-in-law, Frank and Stacey Kelley of Allen and James and Gina Shaw of Ada; nine grandchildren, Michelle Reeves, Michaela Shaw, Krestyn Jarrett, Leelon Fulsom, Kimberly Knighten, Stephen Knighten-Kelley, Airyn Knighten, Gatlin Kelley and Lilliana Kelley; four great- grandchildren, Leah Williams, Xavier Williams, Braylen Jarrett and Hunter Jarrett and many other family and friends.
Hopper was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents; sister, Kathlene “Kathy” Kelley Landrum and son, Galand Dean Kelley.
Those serving as casket bearers will be Airyn Knighten, Leelon Fulsom, Jonathon Bounds, DJ Huckleberry, Danny Isaacs and Dewayne Sexton.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24th, at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa. Rev. Drew Isaacs officiated. Private burial followed.
