As the United States nears the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, the Daughters of the American Revolution initiated Project 250 in commemoration. In conjunction, the Chimney Hill Chapter, Ada, bought books about the American Revolution and the Constitution for each elementary school library in Pontotoc County. Pictured here, Mary Dixon, Literary Chairman (left), and Karen Walters, Regent (right), present these books to Pam Sanders, Allen Elementary School Librarian.
