The town of Allen had some major road repairs done this past week.

It could not of been possible without the help of Pontotoc County District 1 workers and Commissioner Gary Starnts. They used their trucks to travel to haul the gravel.

Bill Spray and his crew from SWH graciously donated a lot of their time and equipment to help make the improvements.

The Allen city employees prepaired the roadway by cleaning and triming limbs to get ready for the work..

We would like them all know their hard work was appreciated. They certainly didn’t have to make such a sacrifice but it makes it easier if they know their work is appreciated.
