For shoppers in Oklahoma, the sales tax will be waived on select items from August 2nd through August 4th. The designated items free from tax include any clothing or footwear less than $100.

According to the Oklahoma Tax Commission, any clothing or footwear under $100 is exempt from taxes. Sales taxes, however, won’t apply to any clothes or footwear meant for “athletic activity or protective use.” Oklahomans can enjoy the Tax-Free Weekend either while shopping online, through catalogs or in stores.
