The Allen Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire Friday night around 10:50 pm. Crews arrived on scene with a heavy presence of flames coming from the front and back of the residence.

The home of Rodney Howard was a total loss and he has lost everything. Mr. Howard is in need of size 12 boots/shoes, size 34/34 pants, size XL shirts and, of course, socks and underwear. Help with replacing personal items and food stuff would be appreciated.

Thank you to Atwood Volunteer Fire Department and Calvin Volunteer Fire Department for their assistance in fighting the blaze. There were no injuries during this fire.
