It is an age of whatever you have, I want. In my mind is an image of a spoiled little kid screaming “mine-minemine” as he is dragged back from another kid who holds some sort of desirable toy. The image portrays segments of our adult population today. Whatever we see, we want it too. And too, we have a nifty way of inventing “boogie men” who have caused all our problems. I knew a guy over at Stonewall who blamed everything wrong in our country and in his life on “Wall Street Jews.” Wars too? Sure. The Jews, you know, started WWII so they could make money building war materials. So, he said. Not actually knowing any Jews at the time I had a hard time picturing these horrible people.

Now plenty of different kinds of folk feel wronged here in the Americas. For instance, black people with reason, feel bad toward those people who once practiced or supported slavery. So, one of their cures for these wrongs are reparations against whites who did it. They would like to levy fines against broad spectra of who they think are the descendants of those slave owners who wronged them then and continue to hold them “down” today. Unfortunately, most all of those people, just like the people they wronged are all dead. But their descendants are still alive, so they say, “let them pay.” And they want billions. Of course, the offensive white descendants all say, who me? “I wasn’t even alive then and my grandpas never owned any slaves.” And besides they may add, I like black people.

President Biden (naturally) has a solution. He may have remembered a time when Abraham Lincoln was informed by his secretary of treasury, Salmon P. Chase, that the US treasury was far too short of cash for the President to be buying so many guns and bullets for his Union boys in blue and the US Civil War that was then raging. Lincoln sarcastically told Chase to just give those printing presses a few extra cranks. This infuriated Chase who proceeded to lecture Lincoln about the evils of just printing paper money that wasn’t properly backed up in the normal way. If Chase were alive I would have him talk to President Biden. Biden just goes ahead and spends nonexistent money by a simple Presidential Decree. He just cranks it out.

Pandering for more votes, Biden has forgiven college debts, knowing that printing unbacked dollars to do so causes inflation. He has been very sympathetic to other voting blocks and wants to disburse money to the descendants of slaves who as it turns out form a pretty steady (90%) vote for Democrats. As always, it is easier to spend someone else’s money to solve a problem or buy a vote.

Need more Democrats? Just open up the borders. History shows illegal immigrants vote 90% Democrat. Social engineering is easier with infinite resources. By resources I mean money. Need more votes from an area or perhaps a particular group? Simple. Just go build them something. They’ll love you.

An avowed socialist from Portugal, Antonio Guterres was recently re-elected Secretary General of the U.N. He made a speech outlining how the offended world can get repatriations for this global warming, which as it turns out is caused by you. He spoke of some low-lying islands out in the Pacific that have been gradually “drowned out” by rising seas. Over the past 75 years or so many of these tiny Island Nations have been abandoned. But who, Guterres asks is responsible for these rising seas?

Well, you guessed it. It’s us. America must pay them billions of dollars since as he says, we mostly caused it. China? Russia? No mention was made of those two. Biden hasn’t paid them off yet, but I am pretty sure he will take their side over ours. Crank up the printing press. It was generally believed in the past, that wealth was produced by labor. That was pre-Biden. Now he himself creates wealth. Just cranks it out.
