Allen defeats Coalgate 18-12 last week

The Allen Mustangs will play a Thursday night game this week as they travel to Konawa for a District match-up. Kickoff is slated for 7:30. The weather forecast looks a little iffy so pack your rain slickers and head out to support the Mustangs.

Last week Allen defeated the Coalgate Wildcats 18-12. Senior Brayden Tatum found the end-zone 3 times in the win. Twice he connected with quarterback Bodee Garrett on pass plays and connected with Coalgate’s quarterback on a 98 yard interception.

“Proud of our guys, it was a rough game but we held our business”, said Coach Matt McCreary. The Mustang offense racked up 275 yards. “We still are having too many penalties, we need to be more disiplend out there, but overall great effort.”There was a techincal problem with the stats so individual stats are not available for this game yet.
