The Allen Lady Mustangs got into the finals of the Weleetka tournament and came out as the Runners- up.

It was a busy day Saturday as they crammed almost a whole 3 day tournament into one day playing 4 games.

The Lady Mustangs opened the tournament with a 6-5 win over Wetumka. Allen took a 5-1 lead into the top of the fourth inning where Wetumka decided to score four runs knotting the score at 5. Allen scored the winning run at the bottom of the fourth and shut Wetumka out the next 3 innings to win 6-5. Macyee Davis led Allen with 3 hits (1 a double and a RBI) Maggie Yarbroughs double was a 2 RBI hit. Lilly Matthews pitched the complete game giving up only 1 walk.

The rain on Friday postponed the tournament and moved it to Preston. So the Lady Mustangs spent Saturday at the fields in Preston. First game of the day saw Allen run-rule Weleetka 122. Cherish Woodward, Alexis Slabough and Yarbrough had a 3 hit game. Woodward had a 4 RBI day. Freshman Addison Prentice
