The Lady Mustangs are answering a big challenge this week as they head to top ranked Caddo for the Regional tournament. The four team tournament has host Caddo, Allen, Bennington and Rattan. The Lady Mustangs were slated to face Bennington at 2 Wednesday. The regional finals are lasted for 2 on Thursday with an if necessary game at 4.

The Lady Mustangs are the owners 23-9 record, with the last 9 consecitive games have been wins. Of that number 11 have been run rule wins.

Last week Allen hosted the District tournament and came out with the championship trophy and 3 run rules; Liberty 12-0, and Indianola 18-0 and 8-0. So in one day Allen scored 38 and left the other teams scoreless The Lady Mustang’s bats have been on fire, add that to strong pitching from Cherish Woodward, Kaylee Davis and Macyee Davis has been a recipe for a great season.

These girls are tough, work hard and are great teammates to each other. While others may be surprised by their current success, they have learned that hard work pays off on the field. The Mustangs have had 3 over the fence homeruns this season, 2 by Kaylee Davis and one by Maebery Wallace.
