Football, Cheer and Band Senior / Parents Honored
Senior Night 2022 honoring Allen’s senior football players, band members and cheerleaders was held this past Friday evening, prior to the Allen/Mounds game. These seniors have contributed much time and effort to make these programs excel, and the school and community is extremely proud of their accomplishments.
Coyt Bell is the son of Frankie and Mindy Bell. He has attended Allen since pre-k and has one brother. Coyt plays cornerback and wide receiver and wears #12 for the Mustangs. He has two memorable moments. His first one was beating Porter at home to make it to the second round of playoffs during his sophomore year, and the second one was breaking his ankle against Savanna last year. Coyt plans to attend college and either become an x-ray technician or radiologist.
Lindsey Chapman is daughter of Savannah Chapman and Kenny Chapman and has three siblings. She has attended Allen Schools since fourth grade. Lindsey is a member of the band and plays the snare drum. Her favorite memories of band are always the bus rides and having fun with her friends. Lindsey’s future plans include attending college at Oklahoma State University and obtaining a degree in Horticulture.
Quinn Corum is the son of Jennifer Corum and Randy Corum and has four siblings. He has attended Allen Schools for 13 years. He plays quarterback for the Mustangs and wears #11. His most memorable moment happened during his freshman year when his front tooth was knocked out during the Stroud game. Quinn’s future plans include attending East Central University next fall.
Macyee Davis is daughter of Billy and Michele Davis. She has attended Allen Schools since third grade and has one sister. She has been a member of the cheer team for all four years of high school. Her favorite memory of cheer took place at practice the day that Candice yelled “Kaylee is joining Cheer.” Macyee was very shocked but filled with joy. Macyee plans to attend college or the technology center after graduation.
Clayton Dyer is the son of Randy and Becky Dyer. He has attended Allen since pre-k and has one brother. He is on the kickoff teams and wears the number 56. Clayton’s favorite memory of football was when Easton and Brendan both got hit in the face with a volleyball at a team dinner right after Jimmy said to be careful. Clayton’s future plans include becoming a heavy machinery mechanic.
Jake Hisaw is the son of Derek and Lindsey Hisaw and Heather and William Bellville. He has six siblings and has attended Allen for the past five years. Jake is a lineman on both sides of the ball for the Mustangs and wears the #53. His most memorable moment was beating Porter in the first round of playoffs during his sophomore year. Jake’s future plans include attending Southeastern and majoring in Occupational Safety and Health.
Tagus Howard is the son of Emily Smith and Larry and Kristy Howard; he has three siblings. Tagus has attended Allen Schools since pre-k. Tagus wears #37 and plays the positions of running back and linebacker for the Mustangs. His most memorable moment was scoring his first touchdown against Wewoka last year. He plans to work for his dad’s company after graduation.
Jessica Jennings is granddaughter of William Brown and Faye Brown and has two siblings. She has attended Allen Schools for the past three years. Jessica is a member of the band and plays the bass drum. Her favorite memory of band was when they were riding the bus home and playing music on a speaker someone had brought. Everyone that was on the bus, cheerleaders included, were screaming their lungs out to the songs that were playing. Jessica’s future plans are to become a tattoo artist’s apprentice and to hopefully become a professional tattoo artist.
Alexis Slabaugh is daughter of Dottie and Kevin Slabaugh. She has attended Allen Schools for the past four years and has one brother. Alexis has been a member of the cheer team for the last three years and is a Co-Captain of the squad. Her most memorable moment as a cheerleader happened during summer practice before her junior year. They were practicing basket-tosses junior year, her flyer landed on her face and broke her nose, she didn’t start crying until she realized that media day pictures were in a couple of days. Her future plans include finishing her Associates Degree in Applied Technology in Healthcare at Redlands Community College and then transfer to the University of Oklahoma to pursue her bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration.
Quinton Walker is the son of Melissa Walker and Jeremiah Cully. Quinton has three siblings and has attended Allen since Pre-K. He wears #8 and plays the positions of slot receiver and safety for our Mustangs. His favorite memory of football has been the opportunity to play the game with some of the same guys he played with in Little League. Quinton’s future plans include attending college after graduation.
Alexander Williams is the grandson of Phoebe Williams, and he has two siblings. He has attended Allen a little over five years. Alexander wears #65 and plays left tackle and noseguard for the Mustangs. His favorite memory was when he came to know God and when Coach Mac prays for the team before they run out before each game. Alexander plans to go wherever God leads him and to be the best person he can be for others.
Taylor Wood is the son of Melissa Wood. He has attended Allen since eighth grade. Taylor wears #85 and plays wide receiver and defensive back for the Mustangs. His favorite memory is getting to step on the field every Friday night with his team to play ball. Taylor plans to attend college and obtain a degree in information technology and to one day open his own computer and mobile device repair store.
Keenan Walker was unable to attend the Friday night ceremony. He is the son of Davelynn Walker. He has one brother and has attended Allen Schools since Pre-K. He is the manager for the Mustangs. He enjoys being the manager because it gives him something to do after school and allows him to be involved with our football program. Keenan’s future plans include attending college and becoming a lawyer or becoming the President or winning an Oscar… or perhaps maybe all of the above.
