Emily Sells was recently recognized as a OSU Rural Scholar. Emily is the daughter of Marty and Melissa Sells and a 2021 graduate of Allen High School. She is currently in her junior year at OSU studying animal science. She has a passion for livestock and hopes to go to veterinary school after graduating college.

Emily will be living in Ada, Oklahoma this summer, working with OSU faculty in psychiatry and behavioral science and leaders in the Chickasaw Nation to learn about strategies of resilience against adverse childhood experiences.
