Ava Laden drove in four runs on three hits to lead Allen/ Calvin past Moss 8-0 on Tuesday. Laden doubled in the fourth scoring two, doubled in the first scoring one, and tripled in the third scoring one.

Allen/Calvin jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Cherish Woodward doubled, scoring two runs, Laden doubled, scoring one run, and Andi Winningham singled, scoring one run.

Allen/Calvin added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Laden tripled, and Winningham grounded out, each scoring one run.

Woodward stepped in the circle first for the Mustangs. She gave up four hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out two and walking three in the run-rule shortened game.

Allen/Calvin piled up 12 hits in the game. Laden was 3 for 3 in the contest, Lilly Matthews(triple and single) and Addison Prentice (2 doubles) each had two hits. Allen/Calvin stole four bases in the game with Prentice, Kala Nickell, Kryslyn Stephens and Kaylee Davis each swiping one.

Since the team has made the jump to Class 2A an adjustment to the schedule had to be made. So the new opponents and some locations have been chained for the new schedule
