The Lady Mustang softball team traveled to Rattan for a 3-game festival on Monday.

Allen lost the opener 12-4 to Whiteboro. Allen scored three runs in the bottom of the fifth on a home run by Senior Kaylee Davis. Davis went 2 for 3 hitting the home run and a double. Kryslyn Stephens had a sacrifice fly in the game.

The next game Allen fell 11-3 to Caney. The lady Mustangs opened the scoring in the top of the first with Dextry Bowerman hitting a single and picked up an RBI. Kayla Nickell went 2 for 2 and Davis picked up 2 hits – a double and a single. Addison Prentice, Bowerman and Stephens each had a single.

In the last game of the day Allen pulled out the 6-5 win over Colbert. Allen was down 5-4 in the bottom of the fifth when Elizabeth Elerick singled scoring 2 runs. That was a big inning for Allen as they scored all of their runs that inning. Allen had 13 hits Caityn Williams, Kierra Frederick, Elerick and Davis each had 2 hits. Elerick and Stephens each had 2 RBI’s. Stephens had a triple in the contest.

The schedule shows Allen hosting Caddo on the 24th, Milburn and Calvin on the 25th and then a trip to Konawa on the 27th and finish the week with a festival in Ripley.
