Receiving these were Alexa Bailey, Elizabeth Boden-Null, Stoney Cully, Bodrey Goodson, Alex Hill, and Ty O’Daniel.

Allen Alumni Scholarship The Allen Alumni Association scholarship is based on academics and involvement in their school. Two $500 scholarships were presented to Alexa Bailey and Brakstin Horton.

Pepsi Scholarships The Allen faculty was given the opportunity to choose one senior from each of the following categories for a scholarship worth $500 each. One is based on athletics, and one is based on academics. This year’s recipients are: Athletic Scholarship— Bodee Garrett Academic Scholarship— Kellianne Finney University of Oklahoma On behalf of the University of Oklahoma, the following scholarships were presented: Mason Carter — University Scholarship worth $8,000 over 4 years; Mike & Leslie Dicus Memorial Scholarship--$1000 OERB On behalf of the OERB, a $2000 scholarship was awarded to Brakstin Horton.

Murray State College Scholarships given were for Bodrey Goodson: $625 Tuition Waiver — Chapman Scholarship; Rodeo Scholarship, $2500 per semester for a total of $12,500 over two years.

Western Oklahoma State College From Western Oklahoma State College, a scholarship was presented to Stoney Cully worth $11,000 per year for a total of $22,000.

Eastern Oklahoma State College On behalf of Eastern Oklahoma State College, a scholarship was presented to Elizabeth Boden Null in the amount of $1300, Tuition and Room Waiver per year Gates Scholarship One Allen student applied for the Gates Scholarship. It is a lengthy process including writing essays and being interviewed. This scholarship does not have a dollar amount attached to it because it pays for a student to complete a bachelor’s degree up to doctorate’s degree. If this young man obtains his bachelor’s degree and then attends medical school, this scholarship would be worth $384,000. It is an honor to present a certificate to this Cayser Nickell.
