Allen High School Academic Awards

The 19th annual Academic Awards Program for Allen High School students was held Thursday evening, May 8th.

The evening began with the Pledge of Allegiance led by Adam Sawatzky.

Superintendent’s Honor Roll The first group to be recognize was students who have shown superior academic excellence by maintaining all A’s. These students have achieved A’s on both the fall and spring semester honor rolls this year and have earned the distinction of being listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll.

Earning this honor were Alexa Bailey, Taylo Batey, Kayd Bell, Elizabeth Boden-Null, Dextry Bowerman, Curt Carlos, Stoney Cully, Kaylee Davis, Elizabeth Elerick, Isabelle Elerick, Cami Frederick, Bodee Garrett, Cruz Garrett, Khloe Goodson, Brooklyn Harper, Alex Hill, Grady Holder, Brakstin Horton, Kadence Johnson, Justin Kerr, Lily Laden, Tresley Mowdy, Cayser Nickell, Kayla Nickell, Ty O’Daniel, Addison Prentice, Cameron Reed, Alyssa Royalty, Adam Sawatzky, Zoey Sawatzky, Kryslyn Stephens, Grasyn Whitehead, Caityn Williams, Leslie Williams, Brax Wofford and Cherish Woodward.

Principal’s Honor Roll To be recognized on the Principal’s Honor Roll, a student must make all A’s and B’s. The honor roll is based on fall and spring semester grades. The following students received this award: Emma Bailey, Kelilee Byrd, Kiara Byrd, Brady Crabtree, Kellianne Finney, Bodrey Goodson, Briar Heck, Zachariah Henry, Alleigh Horton, Brody Horton, Kale Horton, Jessalynn Jack, Hunter Langley, Lauren Lawler, Jaiden Lindsey, Gauge Lockhart, Brailee Nester, Breanna Nester, Cash Roberson, Michael Simpson, Ethan Smith, Landin Tenequer, Emma Tomb, Isabel Velazques, Kendelynn Vivier, Callie Walden, Jax Waktins, Breanna Williams and Bryar Wilson.

Oklahoma Honor Society top 10% of the student body in grades 9 -12. All students had a 4.0 or above.

ALLEN ACADEMIC

TEAM

The Allen High School Academic Team is coached by Tiffany Elerick. These students competed at the District and Regional Tournaments. Members of the Academic Team that participated this year are: Bobbie Chapman, Raiden Colby, Heagan Delany, Kellianne Finney, Brooklyn Harper, Kadence Johnson, Breanna Nester, Ty O’Daniel, Xzavier Parker and Cameron Reed.

Scholarships and Awards Various colleges and organizations attended to present some students with awards and scholarships.

Citizens Bank, Ada recognized Allen members of their Student Bank Board: Elizabeth Boden-Null, Bodee Garrett and Ty O’Daniel.

First United Bank Board recognized Student Bank Board members Alexa Bailey and Alex Hill.

Masonic Lodge Awards The Masonic Lodge of Allen is a strong supporter of Allen School’s academic initiatives and students’ achievement. Local lodge member Jeff Maloy presented the following: The Student of Today award stands for: character, academics, leadership, and general personal and academic development that make them truly outstanding young men and women. The following students were chosen by the faculty: 10th Grade - Lily Laden and Grady Holder; 12th Grade - Stoney Cully and Alex Hill.

Teacher of Today was Mrs. Joni Hill.

Scholarships of $1000 each were presented to Alexa Bailey, Elizabeth Boden-Null, Stoney Cully, Bodrey Goodson, Alex Hill, and Ty O’Daniel.

Hughes County Farm Bureau The Hughes County Farm Bureau, , presented two scholarships. Bodee Garrett and Bodrey Goodson each received a $500 scholarship. Security State Bank

Security State Bank in Holdenville presented scholarships to Elizabeth Boden-Null and Alex Hill in the amount of $500 each.

Rosie Postoak Scholarship Tiffany Postoak Lane presented scholarships in the amount of $250 each to Stoney Cully and Alex Hill.

East Central University Danielle O’Daniel represented East Central University and presented the following scholarships: Academic ECU Scholar Scholarship worth $2000 over 4 years to Elizabeth Boden Null, Austin Stowe and Isabel Velazquez.

University Chorale Scholarship worth $500 per semester for 4 years to Isabel Velazquez.

Academic Achievement Scholar Scholarship worth $6000 over 4 years to Bodee Garrett and Cayser Nickell.

Cecil and Selma Gladden Smith Scholarship worth $500 to Cayser Nickell.

The Drug Free Communities Scholarship for $500, the Alumni Legacy Scholarship for $250, and the Baccalaureate Scholarship, valued at $55,416 over 4 years, went to Ty O’Daniel Governor’s Scholar Scholarship, $22,000 over 4 years, went to Cameron Reed.

Texoma Chevy Dealer Scholarship T Winning from Allen School was Alex Hill.

Rocky Top Winery On behalf of Bob and Wilma Harden, a $500 scholarship was presented to Alex Hill Oklahoma Rural Rehabilitation Corporation The Oklahoma Rural Rehabilitation Corporation awarded several scholarships for higher education at an Oklahoma Institution. Receiving these were:
