The October meeting of the Allen City Council was held Monday night inside Allen City Hall. Members present were Dianna Brannan Charley Henthorn, Joshua Marshall and Rhonda Skelton. Guest at the meeting were City Clerk, Kala Stephens, City Manager, Calem Woodward, Police Chief Darrell Armstrong, Pam Price and Jason and Wendy Potter.

Approval was given to pay the annual premium of $9,404 for general liability and auto insurance.

The crew Is continuing working on streets and need additional funds for asphalt material. Along with patching holes, they have been working on drainage ditches to help divert rain from re-damaging the roads. A big thank you to Gary Starns and District 1 for helping us by hauling the asphalt for us. They are quick to help us by using their equipment during this project.

Police Chief Armstrong reported on the calls he has worked this month. Some calls were for suspicious people and vehicles in town. Always be on the lookout and help our police to make this a safe community. Darrell is spending
