As the Mustangs move from the field to court Coach Chad Elerick had this to say about the football season: “One and nine certainly isn’t desirable, but there were some positives. The core of young players that stayed in tune and continued to grind when we may have been out matched is important. Oftentimes, adversity’s lessons aren’t immediately obvious but certainly important. We dealt with injuries, small numbers, a new staff with new systems, and developing a trusting relationship. We won’t use any of those as excuses, only motivation.”
