Allen third and fourth grade was given an opportunity to help Destiny Graham Fine Art with a grant she was awarded through the Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition (OVAC). Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition’s mission is to grow and develop Oklahoma’s visual arts community, OVAC provides funding to visual artists through grants throughout the year. These grants are intended to help artists at all stages of their career to develop creatively and grow professionally.

Through this program, OVAC not only hopes to offer opportunities to artists, but to ensure creative communities throughout the state thrive through its artists. We want to thank Destiny for inviting our 3rd and 4th grade students to be a part of her project. We look forward to the finished project of a mural in our city park painted by Destiny with our student art as the inspiration.
