Twelve Allen FFA attended the annual State FFA Convention

The Allen Academic Boosters would like to thank the following for their help in sponsoring this year’s Academic Banquet and scholarships

Gerty will be celebrating Gerty Day on 29 June ... Time to see old friends and catch up with what is happening. We will also be celebrating Independence Day that evening in the park with Cara Belt entertaining with live music starting at 7PM followed by fireworks at dark.

The annual Atwood Alumni Reunion has been set for Saturday, June 29th. The doors of the Atwood Community Building will open at 1:00 p.m. The potluck meal will be served at 5:00 p.m.

The annual Allen Alumni Weekend 2024 will be held Friday, June 14th, and Saturday, June 15th. On Friday, June 14th, the day begins at 7:45 a.m. with the Alumni Golf Tournament. Play will be at the Arrowhead Golf Course in Canadian. Cost is $80 per person, four-men teams.

The Allen Masonic Lodge will be holding a Fish Fry dinner on Sunday, June 9th. Fish and all the extras will be served from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

The Allen Town Council meeting was held Monday. All members were present: Josh Marshall, Melinda Haney, Rhonda Skelton, Charlie Henthorn, and Dianna Brannan.
