Allen to Host 1st Round Regionals

Both the local teams play today (Thursday, February 17 ) in the consolation bracket of the Regional Basketball Tournaments. The games will be held here in Allen at 1:30 for the Ladies and 3:00 for the Mustangs and both teams will face the Stonewall Longhorns.

While there they visited with Representatives Brian Hill, Ronny Johns and Lonnie Sims, telling them about FCCLA and the importance of FCS class in the education system. Services for Billy Eugene, Starns, Jr, 62, of Ada, were held Monday, February 14 , at High Hill Baptist Church, Ada, Rev. Randy Golden officiated. Burial followed at High Hill Cemetery. Mr. Starns died Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at a Metaire, Louisiana hospital. He was born April 30, 1959 in Ada to Billy E. and Dean Miller Starns, Sr. He graduated from Byng High School.
