Thirteen Allen seniors will be honored this Friday night before the Mustangs take on the Gore Pirates. The event will begin at 6:15 p.m. before the 7:00 kickoff.

Allen Schools will hold their annual Veteran’s Day Program at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 11th. A breakfast/brunch will be served to all veterans and their spouses at 9:30, before the assembly, in the Consumer Science classroom in the Junior High building.

Allen grad and former resident Coy Howry is facing several major medical issues and needs a life-saving kidney transplant. Coy is currently pastor of the Lovelady Baptist Church, following in the footsteps of his father, Joe Howry, who pastored the Allen First Baptist Church for many years.
