Service Saturday for Jackie Wofford
Memorial services for Jackie Lee “Jack” Wofford, 71, of Lula are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 28th, at Fittstown Baptist Church; Rev. Reno Dye and Rev. Joe Nemecek will officiate.
Mr. Wofford passed away Monday, September 23, 2024, at his home. He was born March 18, 1953 in Ada to Clyde and Alma Nell Sweat Wofford.
He received his Master’s degree in Education and taught Science and Chemistry for 13 years at McLish School. He later became the middle school principal for 10 years. He was of the Baptist Faith. His love of life was the farm and his goats.
Survivors are his daughter, Leanna D. Eubanks and husband, Jimmy of Blanchard; sister, Melinda Rolen and husband, Johnny of Fittstown; aunts, Ruth Shaw of Ada and June Nemecek of Byng; uncle, Carl Wofford of Ada; niece, René Savage and husband, Carl of Stratford; nephew, John Rolen of Fittstown; greatnephew, Jakob Savage of Stratford; and one grandchild, Kenadea Jackson of Norman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Clyde Wofford, Jr.
Honorary bearers are Jimmy Eubanks, Dale Dacus, Justin McCoy, Quin McCoy, and John Rolen.
The family says those who wish may make memorials to Stonewall School Foundation for scholarships.
Services are under the direction of Criswell Funeral Home, Ada.
