All the way from Wetumka, her friend Ida Nicks came to pay a visit to Betty Finney

Betty was one of the lucky ones who got to take a ride on the Wintersmith Train in Ada, before it was retired. The train has been in use since 1957 and will soon be replaced with a newer, larger model.

While in Ada, Betty paid a visit to her sister, Donna Allison.

Betty Finney was among the many who attended the 2021 PEC Day this past Saturday. The event was canceled in 2020 due to the Covid pandemic.

She enjoyed listening to the group “Master’s Voice” performing in the Big Red Barn.

The Gerty Community Church had a visiting quartet, The Black Family, from Lincoln, Arkansas at this past Sunday morning’s service.

The group had sang at the KLRB Radio Station’s singing on Friday and Saturday in the McAlester Park.
