Trump’s Movie Time

This is the question: “Will Trump win a second term in 2020?” If he does will it mean we like his Presidential TV Twitter Show? Is it as good as his old show, “You’re Fired.” Will we, his audience want an extension? Are we getting to the point we don’t even know the difference in reality and Trump’s ongoing TV Show. His show is, after all, pretty compelling. One episode drags us into another episode in which Donald Trump changes the cast in his show, again. And he changes plots just as quickly. Daily twists ranging from his views of not-standing at attention for the flag to then turning and praising Kim Jong-un. About half the viewers love it, and about half hate it.

One worried newscaster asks, “Is Trump the end of Western Civilization?” No. But it may be the curtain rising on U.S. Politics of the future. Meanwhile, politicians, news hounds and voters are keeping a close eye (to say the least) on this daily Trump Show. People look at Trump’s seizure of the White House sort of like Keith Southerland’s venture in that TV show “Designated Survivor.” It just can’t be real. For those of you not familiar with Southerland’s trip in TV fantasyland it shows the Capitol in DC blown to “Smithereens” and our dear old Keith has to take over as the new president.

Just as TV star Southerland was not well received as our new designated Presidential survivor, nor has Donald Trump. Leftist politicians and their handmaidens (CNN) are enraged daily by this “pretender” guy Trump now living in the White House. Trump’s daily tweets show his creation has catapulted Fox and MSNBC news to new heights in the Polls. His main critics, CNN, NBC and CBS are wallowing in the gutters of the rating games. But the left can’t help themselves. Every twit, everything the President says fires up his base and shoots up Fox ratings. While the CNN crowd views all he says as big dumb bloopers. A fatal political mistake by these lefties. But no. The next morning he is up bright and early twitting his views, antagonizing all the left leaning news agencies. Again.

The Cavanaugh episodes which Trump has foisted upon the Senate may have been his most clever yet. Is Judge Cavanaugh’s presentation just another twist in the Trump Show? He had the whole Senate Committee for his cast and they all cooperated beautifully. The Democrats had been led to believe that Cavanaugh would overturn abortions. He was fi nally painted as a sexual pervert back in his childhood. Nothing seemed to be determined for sure but it sure gave the showman President his highest ratings yet for his never-ending TV show.

Alas, it seemed Cavanaugh was going to be approved after all but wait! The President ordered a one week FBI investigation of the Judge. The cast and crew of the show, I mean Senate, approved the move. Trump’s show was guaranteed another big week of ratings although to some this path was not clear. The Democrats, meanwhile, have been dragging up more women to complain if the occasion arose. Or if it didn’t. The Democrats, losing sight of their main goal (to delay Cavanaugh’s appointment until after the November elections) and not understanding Trump’s end game will have at least 10 days more to serve in Trumps breath taking TV drama.

Savvy politicians who will be seeking the White House in 2020 are wondering how they can take over this show and maintain these TV ratings. Sen. Cory Booker, DNJ, seemed to like what he saw. It was believed that he may not comprehend just what Trump was doing but he assured all that he would be running for President and made a lengthy campaign speech.

Keep up with the Donald Trump TV Show and Twitter Extravaganza and be sure and plan time so you can go to Church Sunday. “It’s the real thing.”
