Mustangs to Host Asher Friday

“We’ve spent the last month or so just practicing and occassionaly scrimmaging, so I could tell they were ready to get the season going”, said Coach Dottie Slabaugh. “I can’t say enough about our Seniors, they have been great leaders for our younger kids in the preseason and in turn our younger girls have really worked hard.”
The Lady Mustang duo of seniors Emily Sells and Hannah Harris combined for 46 points (Sells 25 & Harris 21).

On Tuesday night the Allen boys notched their first win over Coalgate 45-39.
The hard fought battle went to the fourth quarter when Allen outscored the Wildcats 14-3 to seal the victory. “That game was a little better, we got into a little bit of a rhythm and played pretty good defense against a good sized team.”
Brayden Tatum was the games leading scorer with 16, Gage Holder 12, Easton Ledo 12, Tagus Howard 3 and Keithon Howard 3.
The Allen ladies continued what they started the night before beating Coalgate 66-44.
