The Allen Mustangs were yet again faced with tough opposition last Friday night in a frustrating loss to the Liberty Tigers. The Mustangs lost 26-16 but had a couple of explosive plays and without a few penalties at inopportune times they may have found another victory. Allen scored twice once in the third quarter on a 8 yard pass from Bodee Garrett to Noah Bray and in the fourth Garrett hit Ethan Smith on a 9 yard score. Kayd Bell ran in the 2-point conversion on both touchdowns.

With one game left on the schedule there is hope to find success one final time. It will be a difficult task, but the Mustangs will face it head on.

Gore will be a great opponent. Allen will need to play good, disciplined football to find a favorable outcome. Regardless of their record, this Allen team has fought hard and played with grit and determination that has been fun to watch. Gore has a record of 5-4 and lost their recent game 20-14 against Central Sallisaw.
