The Southern Legends Coach-Pitch Baseball Team has won the title of 2021 Oklahoma State Champions at the finals this past week in Clinton, Oklahoma. The team of boys, ages 8 and under, includes several Allen players and coaches.

The team won the Ada Kiwanis Baseball League title and the Regional 4 title to earn a berth in the state bracket. The team holds a record of 58 wins, 1 loss.

During the five games at Clinton the Southern Legends run-ruled each opponent. Their challengers were the Chickasha Indians (9-0), Stillwater Pioneers (11- 4), Fletcher Gold (11-4), Stillwell Indians (13-1) and in the championship game (Shawnee PC Naturals (12-0). The area boys scored a total of 56 runs in five games and only allowed all opponents nine total runs.

The team is coached by Jared Johnson, Darrin Brewer, Ryan Haynes and Wade Thompson.
