Congratulations to the Mustangs and Lady Mustangs that competed at the 2A Regional Track Meet at Atoka this past Saturday, May 1. The teams brought home a total of 37 medals and are 2A Regional Championship Placers!

The Allen Girls’ Team placed 4 ^th in a field of 21 schools.

Special congratulations on Ava Laden for being the 2A Regional 100m Champion.

The 4x100 and 4x200 Regional Runner-Up was the relay team of Hannah Harris, Addison Bailey, Taylor Harrison and Ava Laden.

In the 4x800, Macy Davis, Maggie Yarbrough, Kinsey Smith and Maddox Wofford placed 4 ^th .

The team of Macy Davis, Maggie Yarbrough, Kinsey Smith and Taylor Harrison was 5 ^th in the 4x400.

Shot Putt had Brooklyn Sanders in 6 ^th place.

On the boys’ team:

Brayden Tatum was 5 ^th in the 100m.

4x800 was ran by Easton Ledo, Taylor Wood, Rudy Medina, and Coyt Bell.

4x100 and 4x200 teams were Brayden Tatum, Gage Holder, Quinton Walker, and LT Matteri, and they placed 6 ^th and 5 ^th .

4x400 team of Keithon Howard, Brayden Tatum, Gage Holder and Quinton Walker earned 4 ^th .

Shot Putt had Shawn Husband in 3 ^rd place; Davyn Wilson in 4 ^th ; and Jake Beavert in 5 ^th .

The Discus throw listed Davyn Wilson as 3 ^rd ; Shawn Husband 4 ^th ; and Jake Beavert 6 ^th .

Automatic State Qualifiers from Allen are Ava Laden, 100m; Hannah Harris, Addison Bailey, and Taylor Harrison, 4x100 and 4x200; Shot Putt, Shawn Husband; and Discus, Davyn Wilson. Additional qualifiers added once all regions results were posted were: 4x100M team of Brayden Tatum, Gage Holder, Quinton Walker and LT Matteri and in the Shot Put Shawn Husband.

State Meet will be held at Ardmore The team is coached by Zach Sullivan.
