Allen Basketball Seniors Honored
Senior Night 2020 for the Mustang and Lady Mustang basketball teams was held Monday evening, November 30 th . Honored were six seniors who have contributed not only to this program but many other activities in our school.
Hannah Harris is the granddaughter of Kathy Iker and the daughter of Billy Harris and the late Tanya Harris and Derek and Heather Prentice. Hannah wears the number #13 for the Lady Mustangs and plays forward. Her favorite memory of basketball was hitting her 1000 th point in her career and receiving a game ball. After graduation, Hannah plans to attend college to become an R.N. and eventually a Nurse Practitioner.
A.J. Hill is the son of Andy and Joni Hill; he has one brother. He plays point guard for the Mustangs and wears the #3. A.J.’s most memorable happened during his sophomore year when Hunter Simpson got his front tooth knocked out and Coach Mills wasted a whole timeout trying to get Hunter to smile for them. A.J. plans to attend OSU-IT to obtain an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science and become a high line voltage man.
Gage Holder is the son of Justin Holder and Shannah Holder; he has one brother. He wears #24 and plays the shooting guard position for the Mustangs. Gage’s favorite memory of basketball was beating Vanoss in the Area Tournament. His future plans include attending college and becoming a physical therapist.
Chad Milne is the son of Kala Stephens and Brad Milne; he has one sister. He wears #23 for the Mustangs and plays small forward for the Mustangs. Chad’s favorite memory was hitting the game winner against Vanoss. His future plans are to attend college and play basketball.
Emma Peay is the daughter of Doug and Lisa Peay; she has one brother. Emma is a guard for the Lady Mustangs and wears the number 12. Emma’s most memorable moment was when she and Maddy went to get something off the bus at the Moss Tournament and it was dark outside and of course they weren’t paying attention. As they walked toward the back of the bus, they noticed people were on the bus and someone said “Hey” in a very deep voice. Needless to say, they both screamed and ran off the bus. Turns out—they had gotten on the New Lima boys’ bus. Emma’s future plans include attending Murray State College next fall and to obtain a degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
Emily Sells is the daughter of Marty and Melissa Sell; she has one sister. She wears #22 for the Lady Mustangs and plays the position of shooting guard. Emily’s favorite memory happened during the Konawa Tournament. The power went out for about two hours and during the power outage Emily managed to eat half a pizza. When the power finally came back on, the Lady Mustangs came out and won the game. Emily’s future plans are to attend Oklahoma State University and become a veterinarian.
