Due to Covid-19, Allen Schools will not be using water fountains. Students are being asked to bring their own water bottle from home each day. For students that don’t bring one or forget one, the school would like to be able to supply them with a bottle of water for the day.

The 2020 Fast Pitch Softball season is underway! The team travels to Wapanucka today (August 13 ) and Stonewall on Friday before taking on Strothers at home Monday, August 17 .

Top Addison Bailey and (bottom) Ava Laden open their fast pitch season on August 10. They then go non-stop for 2 months until playoffs in October.

Congratulations to Emmitt Koonce, AJ Hill, Beckett Wells and Caden Howard. These boys played in the Heartland Baseball Classic earlier in July and represented their town well.

Allen Public Schools is collecting feedback from parents on the reopening of schools this fall. Parents are asked to complete the survey on our website (www.allenmustangs.org) or Facebook page as soon as possible. The information will be used for preparing and planning the 2020-2021 school year.

The inaugural season in the new gym ended last Thursday hosting a Regional contest to a large Allen contingent of fans. Both teams fell to Luther but traveled to Dale on Friday and Saturday and getting back on the winning track to rack up the Regional Consolation trophy
