Rites held for Keleigh ‘Cole’ Mooney
Memorial Services for Keleigh Dynette “Cole” Mooney, 62, of Calvin were 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 21st, at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Mooney died Wednesday, March 18, 2026, surrounded by family and friends. She was born January 17, 1964 in San Pablo, Seville Spain to Samuel Isaiah and Belva Sue Thompson Cole. She came to this area in 1980 from Pitkin, Louisiana.
She married Donnie G. Mooney on August 11, 2007 at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Ada. Keleigh loved her family and friends. She treasured her grandchildren and loved supporting them in their sports and school events. She traveled through much of her life and enjoyed her time spent in Europe and several US states. She spent over a decade as an educator. She loved music, the arts and attending cultural events. She never met a stranger and could become lasting friends within a few minutes of meeting.
Survivors include her husband, Donnie, of the home; two sons, Alex Terry and wife Sierra and Michael Terry and wife Olivia; uncle, Bill Curtis, of Ada; aunt, Caroline Medler of Pitkin, Louisiana; her mother, Belva Sue Ryan of Pitkin, Louisiana; grandchildren, Naomi, Silvan, Orion, Archer, Mabel and A.J.; brother, Jason Cole and wife Kyla of Lake Charles, Louisiana; sister, Kim Weldon and husband Nolen of Pitkin, Louisiana; nieces and nephews, Dace and wife Sidney of Texas, Avery and Addison Cole of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Cade and wife Breanna and their children, Blake and Palmer of Lake Charles, Louisiana; cousin, Shad Stewart and wife Kelly of Pitkin, Louisiana; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Samuel Cole.
