The 2021-22 basketball season ended for the Lady Mustangs this past Saturday with an Area Tournament loss to the Webber Falls Lady Warriors. The local ladies fought hard and had a great season but ended with a 46-21 loss.

Kaylee Davis was top scorer for the Lady Mustangs with 8, followed by Brooklyn Sanders with 6. Also adding points were Maggie Yarbrough, 3; Maycee Davis, 2; and Stoney Cully, 2. Coach Dottie Slabaugh praised all the girls for a great season and said of her two graduating seniors, “Taylor and Cheyenne were great leaders on and off the floor for us. They are quiet in words but led by example. I have loved every minute of getting to be their coach.”
