The Lady Mustangs regular season is coming to and end and Districts begin next week . The team travels to Vanoss to face the host and Ringling. Allen’s last home game will be Monday against Calvin.

Atoka Captures Lead Early To Defeat Allen Lady Mustangs

Allen Lady Mustangs fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 10-2 loss to Atoka on Friday. The Allen Lady Mustangs struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Atoka, giving up ten runs.

Kaylee Davis started the game for Allen Lady Mustangs. The righthander lasted three innings, allowing nine hits and six runs while striking out two. Macyee Davis threw one inning out of the bullpen.

Davis went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Allen Lady Mustangs in hits.

Slabaugh’s Walk-Off Seals The Deal In Allen Lady Mustangs Victory Over Savanna

Allen Lady Mustangs seized victory in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off single at the end of the game to topple Savanna. The game was tied at six with Allen Lady Mustangs batting in the bottom of the seventh when Alexis Slabaugh singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Despite falling down by five runs in the first inning, Savanna tried to fight back. Savanna scored six runs in the failed comeback on a double in the second, a single in the fifth, and a single in the sixth.

In the first inning, Allen Lady Mustangs got their offense started. Allen Lady Mustangs scored one run when Addison Bailey tripled.

In the top of the sixth inning, Savanna tied things up at six when they singled on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs.

After Savanna scored one run in the top of the fifth, Allen Lady Mustangs answered with one of their own. Savanna scored when they singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run. Allen Lady Mustangs then answered when Stoney Culley grounded out, scoring one run.

Allen Lady Mustangs totaled 16 hits in the game. Kaylee Davis, Slabaugh, Ava Laden, Bailey, and Maebery Wallace all collected multiple hits for Allen Lady Mustangs. Davis led Allen Lady Mustangs with four hits in four at bats.

Savanna saw the ball well, racking up 13 hits in the game.
