Country Comments
Compared to my dad’s life, I had a life of ease. He dropped out of school in the eighth grade to join the CCC, was a war veteran going through hell when he was 18 years old. Returned home with no education or job and became a roughneck since that is all he could find.
He never had a really good job, never owned a new car, and our family lived in an apartment most of our lives and struggled financially but never complained.
He sacrificed so that my sister and I would have a better life and a much easier life. That is what moms and dads did back then.
What a difference a generation makes. One generation restores freedom, builds the greatest country in the world and passes it on to us.
And it is easy to see what the following generations have done to our country since then.
To the greatest generation, saving lives was their 1st priority and now killing unborn children is the goal of half this country.
Building families was their goal and now we have a generation that can’t figure out the difference between a man and a woman. Colleges used to educate in the old days, now they indoctrinate. The greatest generation fought and died for freedom because they loved this country. Now there are many that are trying to destroy America because they are taught to hate it.
We used to take our families to church on Sundays to worship God. A new generation takes their families to ball games, and the malls and the casinos.
From the Greatest Generation to the Coolest generation, we have come a long way – all downhill and we are now paying the price.
It has been said that hard times create strong men.
Strong men create easy times.
Easy times create weak men.
Weak men create hard times.
I believe this is exactly what has happened in our country the last century.
Our country doesn’t need more government handouts – we need REVIVAL!
It is time to get perversion, pornography and politics out of our school and put God back in!
