Districts Start Friday

With the regular season behind the the Mustangs travel to Rock Creek in the district tournament. The double elimination tournament begins at 3 p.m. with the second game starting right after. The if needed game will be Saturday at noon also at Rock Creek.

Mustangs Claims Lead In Sixth Inning To Defeat Savanna

Allen Mustangs nabbed the lead late in the game in a 15-9 victory over Savanna on Tuesday. The game was tied at nine with Allen Mustangs batting in the bottom of the sixth when Garrett Nix tripled on a 1-0 count, scoring three runs.

Both offenses were strong at the plate as Allen Mustangs collected 11 hits and Savanna, nine in the high-scoring affair

Allen Mustangs captured the lead in the second inning when Emmett Koonce singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Alex Hill was the winning pitcher for Allen. The lefty allowed two hits and one run over two and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking zero. Becket Wells threw one and one-third innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Jack Todd started the game for the Mustangs . The pitcher allowed five hits and five runs over three innings, striking out four and walking one

Allen Mustangs totaled 11 hits in the game. Wells, Bodee Garrett, and Koonce each had multiple hits for Allen Mustangs . Koonce, Garrett, and Wells each collected two hits to lead Allen. The Mustangs stole seven bases during the game as two players stole more than one.

Allen Clinches Lead In Sixth Inning To Defeat Wynnewood

The Mustangs took the lead late in the game in a 13-12 victory over Wynnewood on Monday. The game was tied at 11 with Allen Mustangs batting in the top of the sixth when Allen scored two runs on a stolen base.

Garrett Nix led Allen Mustangs to victory by driving in four runs. Nix went 3-for-4 at the plate. Nix drove in runs on a home run in the fourth and a home run in the sixth.

Nix earned the win for Allen Mustangs . The righthander surrendered three runs on five hits over three innings, striking out seven. Bodee Garrett threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Kale Horton started the game for Allen Mustangs . He allowed six hits and seven runs over two innings

Allen Mustangs racked up 16 hits. Jake Hisaw, Nix, Emmett Koonce, Becket Wells, and Horton each racked up multiple hits for Allen Mustangs . Hisaw went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead Allen Mustangs in hits. Allen Mustangs tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Wells led the way with two.

Two Pitchers Work Together As Allen Shuts Out Quinton

Allen defeated Quinton 15-0 on Thursday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout.

The Mustangs secured the victory thanks to nine runs in the first inning. Allens big bats in the inning were led by singles by Jake Hisaw, Kale Horton, Quinton Walker, Garrett Nix, and Bodee Garrett, a walk by Garrett, and a triple by Emmett Koonce.

Garrett led the Mustangs to victory on the pitcher’s mound. The pitcher surrendered zero runs on one hit over one inning, striking out three and walking zero.

Walker had the most chances in the field with five.
