The Mustangs finish up the regular season hosting Quinton on Thursday and a trip to Wynnewood Monday. District assignments came out and Allen travels to Rock Creek to face the host and Clayton/Moyers on Thursday. This is a double elimination tourmament.

Mustangs Defeats Stonewall Despite Allowing 3-Run Inning

Allen weathered a push by Stonewall in the fifth inning where the Mustangs coughed up three runs, but Allen still won 12-3 on Tuesday. Stonewall’s big inning was driven by a triple by Brady, a groundout by Romines, and a double by Pogue.

Allen Mustangs scored five runs in the fourth inning. The rally was led by walks by Garrett Nix and Becket Wells, singles by Kale Horton and Emmett Koonce, and by Quinton Walker.

Nix got the win for Allen Mustangs . Nix went five innings, allowing three runs on six hits and striking out seven.

Allen racked up nine hits on the day. Horton, Nix, and Koonce each managed multiple hits for Allen Mustangs . Koonce, Nix, and Horton each collected two hits to lead the Mustangs . Tupelo took an early lead in the first inning. Tupelo took the lead for good with one run in the fourth inning.

Alex Hill took the loss for Allen Mustangs . The pitcher lasted six innings, allowing eight hits and six runs while striking out three.

Garrett Nix led Allen with three hits in three at bats. Nix and Jake Hisaw had doubles in the contest. Nix, Hisaw, Bodee Garrett hit RBI’s for the Mustangs.

Warner Captures Lead Early To Defeat Allen Mustangs

Allen s fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 14-3 loss to Warner on Friday. The Allen Mustangs struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Warner, giving up 14 runs.
