A longstanding tradition of celebrating rural electrification, innovation, progress, and community gets underway this Saturday, September 27, during the 87th Annual Meeting of People’s Electric Cooperative (PEC).

Members of the Allen First Baptist Church invite you to join them Sunday evening, October 5th, for a special time of worship with The Lighthouse Boys. A Southern Gospel band from Bakersfield, California, the group has been together since 1974.

Excitement is building in Allen as the community prepares for the grand opening of the new Southern Sass Boutique & Mercantile. The shop is located in the Feed Store, on Hwy 1 across the highway from Idle Time Campers.

Allen is set to come alive with joy and community spirit at the Back to Church Celebration on Saturday, Sept. 20. Beginning at 6 p.m. in Allen Park, the evening will offer neighbors, friends, and families a chance to reconnect in a welcoming and uplifting atmosphere.

The Masonic Lodge of Allen is sponsoring a benefit for Justin Milner to assist with medical expenses. Tickets are being sold for a 50/50 pot.
